SOCA This is, justly, one of the worlds best know rivers and a fly fishers dream. We fish this river for Brown trout, Rainbows, Grayling and, of course, the mythical Marmorata Trout. We could spend hours describing this water but there is only one way to experience it, on location.
TOLMINKA One of my absolute favourites. This was the first Slovenian River I fished and has remained a firm favourite. Gin clear water and big fish. This is a river for mainly Rainbows, Grayling and Marmorata.
BACA More of a stream than a river with amazing opportunities top fish with dry flies for big fish. This is stalking in beautiful surrounds for Rainbows, Grayling and Marmorata.
IDRIJCA This River with its Great surroundings and really big fish has to be experienced! To hook one the big, turbocharged Rainbows is an experience that is hard to describe. Here you also have a chance to see and fish for the big and elusive Marmorata Trout.
TREBUSCICA To slowly walk up the banks of this small, clear stream and see the quality of fish that rise to hatching mayflies is a dream come thru. Small river, big fish and surroundings to die for. This is Slovenia!
LEPENA A gem of a stream that enters the Soca high up in the Alpine reaches of the river. It is hard to believe the size of fish you can find in this intimate water. Rainbows and Grayling occupy all holding water, a lot of the time in depths of no more than 20 inches. Fortunately that makes them look up so dry flies are effective most of the time.
KORITNICA This demanding small stream runs into the Soca. This is water that will demand the very best of your stalking technique but if you get it right it will reward you richly. The known Swiss fly tier and fly fisher Marc Petijean often fishes this river for Marmorata Trout.
UNEC This is a unique limestone stream that will leave you stunned. More than ten miles of fishable water and virtually all of it are very good! This River is so-called Trophy Water and is about one hours drive from our lodge. This is a fly fishers must and to hook one of the large aggressive Graylings is something that you will remember for a long time. With a bit of luck you could also find one of the Rivers bonuses, Brown Trout that reach six pounds and more.
